Good morning, Residents are being urged to stay away as firefighting operations continue following a huge blaze at the old Odeon cinema in Preston city centre last night. Smoke from the fire could be seen billowing from miles away at its height with 12 fire crews in attendance at one point. The blaze follows a fire at St Joseph’s Orphanage and one at the former Odeon within hours of each other at the weekend. Preston City Council leader Matthew Brown said the recent fires in the city centre are 'very disturbing suggesting a possible trend’.
