Evidence-Based Acquisition: Leveraging both usage data and librarian expertise
Tuesday, August 29, 2017
3-4 PM ET, 12 PM-1 PM PT

In this webcast, we’ll explore how ebook acquisition models have evolved to provide greater control and flexibility. We’ll share how JSTOR developed its new EBA model with input from library participants, and the benefits and trade-offs of this model. Librarians will discuss the strategic shifts in their collection development policies, and what they’ve learned from implementing EBA—including its effects on costs, cataloging workflows, title selection, and user reception.
