Letter from the Editor

The value of CGMS has reached a new height in aiding in glucose management and control with the introduction of the new Control-IQ software. My wife got the approval from her Endo to start using the software, and in two days the difference was dramatic. She has always battled overnight lows and morning highs, but since the start of Control-IQ, her levels rarely move more than 5mg/dl, and her exercise fluctuations are a thing of the past.

This week our intern Chardae Whitner, 2020 PharmD. Candidate, Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine, has reviewed the recent studies on CGMS and has a complete review for you.
