Net Zero Transition Fund Offers £3,000 Grant

The Net Zero Transition Fund is a non-repayable grant of up to £3,000 for businesses in Fife. It can be used to help your business move toward operating with net zero carbon emissions. 

Priority is given to businesses in sectors such as energy, financial and business services, food and drink, manufacturing and engineering, and tourism.

The Scottish Industrial Energy Transformation Fund

The third window of the £34 million Scottish Industrial Energy Transformation Fund (SIETF) is now open. This offers an opportunity for industrial sites with high energy use to develop their proposals into applications for match-funded government grants to support their transition to a low-carbon future. 

SIETF will help the industry to cut energy bills by investing in more efficient technologies while reducing emissions by bringing down the costs and risks associated with investing in decarbonisation technologies.

Multiprint Celebrates 50 Years At Forefront Of Printing Industry

A business, which started as a hobby for founder, George Warner, in the basement of his father’s house, with just an old litho printing machine costing £20, has come a long way in its 50 years. 

In 1972, George opened Multiprint in Cowdenbeath’s High Street, and through its determination to succeed, it soon moved with three employees to Mitchelston Industrial Estate. Then, in the mid-80s, it located to custom-built premises in  Kirkcaldy, where it is today.

Rural Leadership Programme

The Scottish Rural Leadership Programme is designed to help Scottish rural business owners who have the desire and ambition to grow their business.

The programme runs from October 2022 until early March 2023. It involves a series of engaging and stimulating workshops to help leaders develop themselves and their business through one-to-one coaching, peer-to-peer mentoring, innovation, and an inspirational learning journey to London and Edinburgh.

October is Menopause Awareness Month

October is Menopause Awareness month, and the Workplace Team from Fife Health and Social Care Partnership is launching a local campaign to raise awareness of the subject to increase understanding of the impacts on individuals and in the workplace generally.

The Workplace Team’s campaign will showcase their workplace menopause awareness resources including a Digital Toolkit, an Infobyte video and signposting to national resources.
