Exciting news Murfreesboro Rescue Mission is excited to announce we’re entering the final phase of our capital campaign. In June of 2021 we purchased what was formally called Sunshine Square Apartments. Sunshine Square has been renamed and is now called, Bridge Avenue Apartments. Affordable housing is one of the leading causes of homelessness in the United States. Bridge Avenue Apartments is a Christian-living facility dedicated to encouraging spiritual development and sobriety. It’s also a low-cost option that helps address affordable housing needs.
In April of this year, we were able to complete part two of a three phase campaign by purchasing the adjacent lot which will now be used to house the emergency shelter, life recovery programs and transitional house.
September 19, we will host our second annual banquet to launch the final phase of our campaign and unveil the rendering of what will become Murfreesboro Rescue Mission. This will be the first public showing. It is worth coming to see. The banquet location starts at 6 PM and will be held at The Fountains at Gateway. We would love to see you there. Please let us know if you are coming. Text or call: 615-605-1705. You may also notify us by mail with the enclosed envelope.
