There are now six names vying for the Scottish Tory leadership as party veteran Murdo Fraser writes exclusively for The Scotsman today to confirm his bid to replace Douglas Ross. And he certainly does not hold back in his assessment of where the party finds itself.

Feature writer Janet Christie catches up with Kirsty Wark as the former Newsnight presenter brings BBC’s Front Row arts show to Scotland.
