Major figures in the business community want to see a new arena built somewhere in the city. The Town Center Garage is being eyed as a prime potential site.

The city’s decision not to go forward with one of two residential development proposals at the Town Center Garage it owns in the West End does not mean a new arena is slated for the site, Mayor Aftab Pureval told the Business Courier.
