| Dear Skateistan Supporters,
In mid-March, we took the decision to suspend our programs for the safety of our staff and students. But we haven’t forgotten them. Our programs team is working incredibly hard to reach children, even though the challenges are real. Most of our students don’t have access to the internet at home so it’s not an option for us to simply put our lessons online. Instead, educators have been calling families, checking in on students, passing on accurate information about Covid19 and setting engaging activities for children to do in the safety of their homes. Last week, our educators connected directly with almost 500 students to ensure that no one feels left behind.
