Baby Chicks Hatched at the Library! We were very excited to have baby chicks hatch at the library last week. The eggs arrived on May 10 and were in an incubator for about 20 days. When staff arrived on Wednesday morning to open the library, they were greeted by our first baby chick! We live streamed several times that day and the next as the baby chicks emerged from their eggs. In total, 11 chicks hatched, and it was a wonderful experience for the kids to watch. The chicks will be at the library until Thursday. |
