BY DEANNA B. NARVESON ExxonMobil is considering investing more than $150 million in two new specialized north Baton Rouge facilities. The Metro Council is in talks with the oil giant to see how these projects could help revitalize some of Baton Rouge's most blighted neighborhoods through a cooperative endeavor agreement. The five-year agreement is up for approval this week.
The East Baton Rouge Parish School Board is slowing down its search for a new superintendent. The board is planning to put out a request for proposals to find a contractor to set up community meetings so it can garner public input.
