Legal Alert June 2020 - English

Dear Clients and Business Partners,

In order to cushion the economic consequences of Covid-19, the Federal Council together with the State Secretariat for Economic Affairs (SECO), the Federal Office for Public Health (FOPH) and further involved authorities has announced numerous measures during the past weeks and months. These measures were particularly intended to support both employers and employees as well as self-employed individuals and contained simplifications regarding the short-time work application process as well as the establishment of further financial support measures such as the compensation for the loss of earnings.

This Legal Alert provides an updated overview of the latest labor law-related measures as of June 2020 and in particular of the new rules regarding short-time work.
