die digitale Revolution hat die Versicherungsbranche erreicht, dabei vor allem die Kfz-Sparte. Das zeigen Trends wie Telematik, autonomes Fahren, Fahrerassistenzsysteme und Data Base. Diese werden die Mobilität in den nächsten Jahren maßgeblich prägen. "Die Entwicklung zum assistierten und automatisierten Fahren ist so revolutionär wie die Einführung des Fließbandes 1913." Davon ist Professor Dr. Eric Hilgendorf, Ordinarius unter anderem für Strafrecht und Rechtsinformatik an der Universität Würzburg, überzeugt. Gewiss sei aber auch, dass das automatisierte Fahren in Deutschland nicht so schnell die deutschen Straßen prägen werde, vor allem weil die Deutschen ein "ganz besonderes Verhältnis zu ihrem Auto haben". Verschiedene Experten erwarten, dass sich durch die neuen Techniktrends signifikante Veränderungen für die Versicherer in der Kfz-Branche ergeben. Es gilt, viele offene Fragen zu diskutieren und den Informationsaustausch zwischen Automobilentwicklern und -Versicherern zu verbessern, um gemeinsam das Beste für die Verkehrsteilnehmer zu erreichen. Erstmalig findet deshalb am 25. April 2017 in Frankfurt im Rahmen der ATZlive-Fachtagung "Fahrerassistenzsysteme" der Tagungsstrang "Zukunftsstrategien für Versicherer" statt.
