Fairfax County Public Schools cancels school Friday, school activities through April 12

All Fairfax County Public Schools will be closed March 13 and March 16.

DC Public Schools will be closed through March 31 to help mitigate spread of coronavirus

The District will provide meals to students on weekdays from Monday, March 16, through Tuesday, March 31, from 10 a.m. – 2 p.m. Click here for meal sites.

COVID-19: At least 39 cases in D.C., Maryland and Virginia

A State of Emergency has been declared in the District and both states.

Travelers scramble to return to US before European travel ban takes effect due to COVID-19

U.S. citizens are exempt from the ban. They just have to go through appropriate screening upon arrival.
