We're excited to announce the release of our Fall 2018 version of Barrel-Aged Vendel!
This time around, we put our chocolate coffee imperial stout into port wine barrels that previously held our Vinatta RIS, and added a healthy portion of toasted coconut & vanilla beans! Nine months of aging in the barrel added complex layers of oak, vanilla, and red wine.
Madasgascar vanilla beans and toasted coconut were added directly to the barrel. The vanilla beans accentuate the vanilla notes from the oak, and toasted coconut adds a natural nuttiness. Guatemalan coffee roasted at The Coffee Factory in Derry rounds out the flavor profile with a light, but pronounced roast.
22oz bottles will be $14 per bottle, no limit, and available starting at 12PM on Tuesday 11/20. Samples & 10oz pours will be available all week, please see our updated hours for Thanksgiving which we will post next week. We will be closed on Thanksgiving. Pizza/food service will be available as usual.
This beer will be available at the brewery only until we run out. Keep an eye on our social media accounts for availability updates.
