Hi Friends!

Fall weather is blowing in here in the PNW, and conditions are ripe for adventure. We're seizing every opportunity to get out in nature and we hope you are too. If you don't have any plans yet to hike or camp this fall, get on it! Keep your body moving to keep the stoke high as the seasons change.

Dave just returned from a five-day backpacking trip through the Sawtooth Wilderness in Idaho. The scenery was stunning, and he made some great memories with two close friends. Make sure to stop by our social media to see some highlights from the trip.

Casey is back out hiking and testing gear on the Arizona Trail. This is a truly magical time to be in the Southwest, and we can't wait to hear how it's going. She'll be posting updates with pics, stories, and gear insight as she makes her way towards the terminus.

As always, thanks for following along, and Happy Trails!

GEAR PICK OF THE WEEK
Patagonia Torrentshell 3L Rain Jacket

The Patagonia Torrentshell 3L (view women's here) is one of our all-time favorite rain jackets because it’s affordable, durable, and has a great fit. While it’s not as lightweight and compressible as some, we’ve used it extensively on backpacking trips when we expected stormy conditions. Its laminated triple-layer construction is highly protective in sustained rain, and the jacket still feels lightweight on your body. Because it’s so versatile and such an awesome value, the Torrentshell is the number one rain jacket we recommend for all-around use.

Check out our list of the Best Rain Jackets to see how the Torrentshell compares to the rest of the best.
