False Rumors

"You must not pass along false rumors. You must not cooperate with evil people by lying on the witness stand." — Exodus 23:1

Beloved Daughter,

I am the God of comfort and healing. I know how your heart breaks when you have been hurt or falsely accused by someone, especially if it’s someone you love. My heart breaks for you, My beloved child. I know what it feels like to be falsely accused by the people one loves.

I want you to allow Me to be your defense. You don’t have to drain your strength defending yourself. No matter what falsehoods are said or who believes them, My truth always wins in the end. Rest in Me, and let Me heal your heart from these offenses.

Love,
Your heavenly Father

Reflection

You can’t stop people from talking, but you can change how you react. If you have been falsely accused of something, let the way you live prove the accusation false. Don’t engage; let God be your defense.

Treasure of Truth

Don’t engage in a battle that is God's to fight.
