Farmer Optimism Climbs to Levels Not Seen Since October

USDA’s crop progress report shows 2% of the corn crop is planted in the 18 states surveyed. That’s on par with the five-year average. But it’s not just corn, beans are also going into the ground.

As the 2021 bull market continues, it’s leading to a growing level of farmer optimism. The latest Ag Economy Barometer from Purdue University/CME group shows farmer sentiments rose to 177 this month, up 12 points in one month.
