Twin air crashes

The Northwest Territories Coroner's Service says there are fatalities from a passenger plane that crashed near the community of Fort Smith. And in northwestern B.C., two people injured in a deadly helicopter crash Monday remain in critical condition, while two others have been upgraded to serious condition. Three people were killed.

Freedom Convoy court ruling

The federal government says it plans to appeal a ruling by the Federal Court stating that its use of the Emergencies Act to shut down the so-called Freedom Convoy protests in Ottawa two years ago was "not justified."
