Hold the phone: Hockey fans get a surprise visit

What would you do if you heard someone yell “I dare you to shoot” from the other side of your wall? Some people might think a gun was about to go off, which is exactly why one resident of Tampa, Florida called police after hearing those exact words coming from next door.

To the surprise of Devon Garnett, the resident’s neighbor, a squad of police showed up to his door asking where the guns were. That’s when Devon admitted exactly what was going on: He was cheering for Steven Stamkos of the Tampa Bay Lightning. As it turns out, he and his friends had just been watching Game 3 of the Stanley Cup Final on TV. Some people will call police for anything. Then again, you can never predict what will happen during hockey games.
