Dear John,
On January 25, the Church celebrates the Conversion of Saint Paul, one of the great events of the early Church.
Saul was suddenly converted on the road to Damascus when our Lord appeared to him in His resurrected glory (Acts 9:1-9). From this point, he took the name Paul, and would become the “Apostle to the Gentiles.”
We have a special page dedicated to this subject: ewtn.com/conversionofsaintpaul. We hope that you will visit this page to read Q&As and watch videos that discuss Saint Paul’s Conversion.
We also have a free eBook on the page, Prayers for the Conversion of a Loved One. One of the biggest concerns — and heartaches — that Christians face is with family members who have not come to faith with Christ or who have walked away. This special resource will help you continue your faith journey as you pray and place your faith in God.
May God bless you on this feast day of the Conversion of Saint Paul!
In Christ,
Your EWTN Family
