3D設計、建築土木、製造、メディア&エンターテインメント向けソフトウェアの世界的リーダーであるAutodeskがオフィス移転に際して、コミュニティと交流が生まれるスペースを作りたいと考えました。そこでTokyoDexはアーティストの澁谷忠臣と協力し、「温故知新」をテーマとしたAutodeskの想いを反映した大規模な壁画を制作しました。「伝統と革新」をキーワードに、日本への愛情を込めながら、自社のこれまでの技術的な成果を大切にし、更なる未来の発展を思い描いた作品となりました。

When Autodesk, a global leader in the development of software for 3D design, construction, manufacturing, and media & entertainment, relocated its Tokyo office, they wanted to create a break-out space that was conducive to gathering and creative exchange. Towards that end, TokyoDex worked with artist Tadaomi Shibuya to create a large mural that encapsulates Autodesk's aspirations under the theme "Onkochishin" (remembering the old and discovering the new). Incorporating keywords such as "tradition and innovation" as well as reflecting a love of Japan, the artwork honors their past technological achievements while it envisions future development.

2024年1月、TokyoDexのアートディレクター/ CEOのダニエル・ハリス・ローゼンは、新潟県行政書士会の新春講演会･賀詞交歓会にお招きいただき、新潟市長を含む100名を超えるゲストの前で「コミュニケーション・アートで新潟を元気に！」をテーマに、会話と共感を育むアートの力について公演しました。新潟県・佐渡島の太鼓芸能集団「鼓童」でロードマネジャーを担当していたダニエル個人にとっても、新潟でこのような交流の機会や意見交換の場を頂けたことを光栄に思います。TokyoDexでは今後も、実体験に基づくアートの力と感動を共有していきます。イベントや講演会にご興味のある方は、info@tokyodex.comまでお気軽にご連絡ください。

In January 2024, our Art Director/CEO Daniel Harris Rosen had the honor of serving as a keynote speaker at the Niigata Prefecture Administrative Scrivener Association's New Years gathering. In front of an audience of over 100 people including the Mayor of Niigata City, he spoke on the topic of "Energizing Niigata through Communication Art," emphasizing the power of art to foster conversation and empathy. Having previously served as the Road Manager for the taiko drumming group "Kodo" in Niigata Prefecture and Sado Island, Daniel personally cherished the opportunity to engage with the Niigata community and exchange ideas. From 2022 to 2023, TokyoDex curated a team of 22 amazing artists to produce artwork spanning 7 floors and covering over 100 surfaces in GREE, Inc.’s office. Based on the overall theme of "Subcultural Retreat with a Kick," we created concepts and artist teams for each floor.
