A reader named Ted recently reached out to our Luke Kerr-Dineen with a thoughtful question, and one many golfers can relate to. Ted, who hits a reliable fade, was contemplating a swing change to start hitting draws, yet he was weary of not having enough time or energy to properly engrain the new move.
Luke relayed Ted’s question to Tony Ruggiero, one of Golf Digest’s Top 50 coaches, who offered some excellent insight into how golfers should divide up their practice when making swing changes. Ruggiero says all golfers should follow the ’20-20-20’ range rule, which Luke covers in our most popular story from February. |
