Federal prosecutors in the Southern District of New York said on Friday that the "nature and seriousness of the offenses" to which President Donald Trump’s former personal lawyer has pleaded guilty to warrant a sentence of roughly 42 months. Special Counsel Robert Mueller, in a separate filing, declined to request a specific term.
