East Baton Rouge residents are trying to get their minds around the region's new garbage-pickup contract. Right now, the main plan has rates going up and the number of pickups per week going down. There's an option to keep twice-a-week pickups, at an even higher cost. In case you missed the election results from the weekend, there will be a big shakeup on the East Baton Rouge Parish School Board.
