A recent survey of Gen Z users aged 16–23 conducted by LJ discovered that readers in this age group love hardcover books as much as previous generations, and get a significant chunk of their reading material from their library. But the survey also revealed that what they don’t get from the library—or purchase—comes from an increasing variety of sources, including online outlets that are not part of the library purchasing ecosystem.
