☀️ Tuesday's highs will climb to the mid to upper 40s, with the 50s expected again in the southwestern parts of the state.

🌧️ Late Tuesday night brings a chance of rain showers to the metro area. Central and northern Minnesota will experience temperatures near or slightly below freezing, with a wintry mix expected.

Abdulkadir Awale said that he had operated a legitimate charitable meal service before joining what prosecutors allege was a $250 million scheme to fleece taxpayer-funded child nutrition programs during the pandemic.
 
Passengers from Minnesota and Texas file lawsuits after Delta crash in Toronto

The suit claims the crew violated numerous domestic and international airline industry standards and flight rules set by the Montreal Convention, an international treaty. Both Delta and its wholly owned subsidiary Endeavor Air are listed as defendants. Endeavor is based in Minneapolis.
🪴 How the lack of snow and cold snaps this winter ‘burn’ garden plants. Plants that aren’t protected by snow, especially evergreens, can become winter-burned. Exposed needles turn yellow or brown and fall off. 

🚉 Northstar commuter trains from Minneapolis to Big Lake could be replaced with bus service. The Minnesota Department of Transportation and the Metropolitan Council on Monday issued a joint statement stating that they’ve started to study replacing those Northstar trains through the northwest Twin Cities metro area with buses.

🚗 Sheriff: Owner of Buick half-submerged in White Bear Lake has a few days to remove it.
Deputies said the 41-year-old owner of the Buick told them he was driving across the lake when his front wheels broke through the ice and water started coming through the floorboards.

🖼️ Last Chance exhibit: A reckoning on water at the Minnesota Marine Art Museum. The Minnesota Marine Art Museum’s “A Nation Takes Place” reexamines marine art by highlighting the overlooked histories of Indigenous and Black peoples. Plus an exhibit curated by Ojibwe poet Heid E. Erdrich and one featuring photographer Shelly Mosman.

🕯️ Clint Hill, Secret Service agent who leaped onto JFK’s car after the president was shot, dies at 93. Although few may recognize his name, the footage of Hill, captured on Abraham Zapruder's chilling home movie of the assassination, provided some of the most indelible images of Kennedy's assassination in Dallas on Nov. 22, 1963.
