What's Happening this Month!

Happy Women’s History Month! At Agora Gallery, we are celebrating each and every one of our incredible female artists who have paved the way and broken boundaries for creative expression. Elevating female artists has always been central to Agora’s history and core values, itself founded by painter and sculptor Miki Stiles in the early 80s. Thwarted by her lack of opportunities to show her work, she took matters into her own hands and established the Agora Gallery. In more than 35 years since, the gallery has launched dozens of female artists to the fore of the New York and global art scenes – a mission that continues to this day.

This month we are also launching a brand new exhibit, Transcending Passages, on view from March 16th to April 6th. Join us in celebrating the artists and their works at the opening reception on March 18th from 6-8 pm.

While the 35th Chelsea International Fine Art Competition exhibition has been extended until March 10, for those of you not in New York right now, we highly recommend the 3D tour of the show. View all artworks up-close, from wherever the Internet is found
