Femke Bol in actie tijdens FBK Games 2022

Niemand minder dan Femke Bol zal haar opwachting maken tijdens de FBK Games 2022. Bol, gespecialiseerd in de 400m en de 400mH, hoopt in het FBK Stadion een mooie prestatie neer te zetten op de 400mH. Tijdens het WK Indoor in Belgrado pakte de Nederlandse nog zilver op de 400m en haar topprestatie op de Olympische Spelen in Tokyo werd beloond met een bronzen medaille op de 400mH. De 22-jarige Bol is, naast polsstokhoogspringer Mondo Duplantis, de tweede grote naam die bekendgemaakt is.

Femke: “Ik ben echt ontzettend blij dat ik eindelijk een wedstrijd in Nederland in een vol stadion kan lopen! Door alle COVID-maatregelen heb ik dat nog nooit kunnen doen. Als kind zat ik bij de FBK Games op de tribune, nu sta ik er zelf aan de start. Ik kijk echt uit naar 6 juni en hoop in aanloop naar het EK en WK later deze zomer een mooie en vooral snelle race te kunnen lopen.”

FBK Games 2022 welcomes Femke Bol

No one other than Femke Bol will be present at the FBK Games 2022. Bol specializes in the 400m and 400mH and hopes to show a great performance at the FBK Stadium. She will race the 400m Hurdles, her favorite discipline. During the WC Indoor in Belgrade, the Dutchwomen took home the silver medal on the 400m and her amazing performance at the Tokyo Olympics was rewarded with a bronze medal on the 400mH. The 22-year-old will be joined at the FBK Games by Pole Vaulter Mondo Duplantis amongst many other great names yet to be announced.
