The workshops, most of which last two days, focus on dialogue and practice. The teachers discuss the participants' work on the basis of the respective topic and develop ideas and concepts for photographic projects together with them. Love, family, emotion – existential subjects of being human are the common thread in the work of the Israeli-American photographer Elinor Carucci. Her series “Closer” (2002), “Diary of a Dancer” (2005), both exhibited at the Fotografie Forum Frankfurt) or “Mother” (2013) and “Midlife” (2020) are considered icons of contemporary artistic photography. Elinor Carucci will deal with intimacy in our everyday lives and as a motif in a photographic project in her three-day Masterclass FINDING INTIMACY on March 25/26/27, 2022, 12–6 pm.
