Today is World Cancer Day - an international day to raise awareness of cancer and to encourage its prevention, detection, and treatment. I'm so grateful to be part of a global community which works tirelessly to help people living with cancer and their families, and can't thank you enough for joining us in the fight against cancer.

Maya's Story of Hope

Cancer takes so much from a child. Little Maya knows just how much.

It took her hair. It took her hearing. It took several centimetres off her height. For a while, it even took her ability to eat. In truth, it stole a huge part of her childhood.

Thankfully it didn’t take Maya’s ability to learn. While Maya was receiving life-saving treatment, she took part in our education support program, ensuring she didn’t miss out on those formative, pre-school years.
