This week, I’m coming to you hot off the back of three days at the National Waste Conference in Coffs Harbour and, as I’ve said here before, there’s nothing that comes close to the importance of conferences for people to be face-to-face, interacting, communicating, hearing ideas from each other directly and then being able to share a cuppa at morning tea or lunch or catch up at dinner and take the concepts and ideas and potential collaboration and partnerships to the next level. I want to give a big shout out to the many council staff from around the country that come along and not only share their stories around dealing with waste but take on board and collaborate across organisations to come up with better solutions. | | |
