The annual Junior Police Academy is a 2-week program again this year, held at Ramapo Ridge Middle School, consisting of hands-on activities, physical training, lectures, and presentations by law enforcement and first responder professionals. The approximate hours will be 8:30 am – 3:00 pm.

The objective of the Junior Police Academy is to provide an environment where students are challenged and learn the basic principles of RESPECT, DISCIPLINE, and HONESTY as well as teamwork, motivation, and dedication. These are life lessons that students will take far beyond their days at the Junior Police Academy.

Applicants must reside in Mahwah and have successfully completed 5th grade in a public or parochial school.
