Some of our readers have asked me why they need to apply for a membership at the Alpha Society. Why can’t they just pay and become a member?

The reason is that the Alpha Society, our most exclusive club, is simply not for everyone.

There isn’t one specific person who fits the mold. The more diverse the Alpha Society is, the more opportunities our members have access to. But a successful Private Club needs some rules all the members adhere to—like agreeing to our club policy of civil discourse and non-solicitation.

I’m sure you can see why answering a few questions and agreeing to the club policies is in everyone’s best interest.

The truth is that only about 20% of our readers take investing extremely seriously. These are the people I created the Alpha Society for.

While we count financial advisors, traders, asset managers, and high-net-worth investors among our ranks, you don’t have to be any of these things to become a member.

What you should bring to the table, though, is an appreciation for acquiring knowledge—whether that’s macroeconomic musings or sound strategies for wealth protection and growth.

Most Alpha Society members have quick, flexible minds and are creative by nature, no matter what their occupation. They love to hear and discuss fresh, groundbreaking, and often controversial ideas and concepts... and are willing to listen even when they disagree.
