| Floortje Mackaij raced to stage and GC success for Team DSM at the AG Tour de la Semois in Belgium today, sprinting to the win from a leading quartet after being brilliantly set up by the team in the finale.
With a strong pace over the climbs throughout the day, the team expertly rotated through the attacks and were always in the important moves. Entering the last 20 kilometres all five Team DSM riders were in a group of around 25, with Mackaij then making the decisive final split. Using a quick turn of speed, Mackaij powered to the line, raising her arms aloft to take the stage and GC double; securing Team DSM Women program's 13th and 14th wins of the season.
