Hi John,

After a fun family summer on the beach, I came home and decided to commemorate the experience with a painting of my flip-flop. πŸ©΄β˜€οΈ

I got to work and covered a canvas with gesso and sand from that beach. Once dry, I painted my flip-flop on top!

A gift to my family member to reflect our happy memories together.

When you’re stumped for ideas, try looking to everyday objects for inspiration...

  • a can of beans
  • a t-shirt
  • a vase of flowers
  • or the pattern on your dinner plate
  • your shoe
  • dinner

What everyday objects have been your muse, or what could become your inspiration?

Find something nearby that inspires you, and create a piece of art to represent that object...

Wishing you a creative evening.
