Hi John, As the year comes to an end, I’ve made it a tradition to reflect on the past twelve months with the rest of our team. This year I’d like to extend this tradition to the entire Finimize Community. I’ll structure these reflections in three parts – today I’ll focus on you, the community. (Stay tuned for the other two parts in the coming days 👀 ) Community has been in the DNA of Finimize from day one, but 2019 has been the year in which the Finimize Community truly came to life. More than 10,000 of you met at Finimize Meetups in more than 40 cities around the world. Towards the end of this year, a Finimize Meetup happened nearly every weekday 🙌 And magical things happen. We’ve seen friendships form, new careers blossom, progress made towards financial dreams – and a movement start.
Despite the turmoil in Hong Kong, more than 100 Finimizers found a way to meet. In Beirut the meetup had to be postponed due to protests, but the Beirut Finimize Club was launched. And many more incredible stories, all thanks to you coming together. It’s no surprise then that a whopping 96% of you have said you’d like to attend another meetup. But perhaps most importantly, nearly half of all of the attendees told us that they made more informed financial decisions as a result of attending a meetup. |
