In August 2021, global FinTech funding surpassed $10 billion for the fourth time since January 2021. Monthly FinTech funding, however, has exceeded $10 billion for the past three months. FinTechs raised $10.41 billion in funding and closed 305 deals. Funding value declined by 21.87% compared to the previous month. Yet, the number of deals increased from 278 in July 2021 to 305 in August 2021, registering a 9.7% MoM growth. |
