FinTechs worldwide raised $9.6 billion and closed 356 deals in September 2021. Average monthly FinTech funding more than doubled, from $3.7 billion in 2020 to $9.6 billion in 2021. Additionally, in the first three quarters of 2021, global FinTech funding surpassed $86 billion while FinTechs closed 2,784 deals. The number of deals increased from 305 in August 2021 to 356 in September 2021, indicating a 12.7% MoM growth.
