The CMS announced that California, Florida, Kentucky and Oregon have been approved to extend their postpartum coverage through Medicaid and the Children's Health Insurance Program from 60 days to 12 months. The states join three others that have extended Medicaid postpartum coverage, and extensions have been proposed in several other states, including Indiana and Pennsylvania.
