Fire Damages Vacant Single-Story Home in Sylmar Fire damaged a vacant one-story home in Sylmar, authorities said Sunday. Firefighters dispatched at 10:47 p.m. Saturday to the 13000 block of North Gladstone Avenue had the blaze out within 27 minutes of their arrival, the Los Angeles Fire Department reported. No injuries were reported and a cause of the fire was under investigation.
