Vale Greens & Practice Facilities Get Their First Mow, Course Update & Upcoming Events

Greetings Members,

Exciting news on the Vale nine and practice facilities. Ryan, Garrett, and crew put the first mow of the season on the greens. They look great and are filling in nicely. A little bit of sunshine and heat will make a huge difference. Take a look!

It looks like Mother Nature might help us out for a couple of days. The golf course handled yesterday's rain fairly well. Today and tomorrow the course rotation will be Ridge/Creek cart path only. The Creek will have a couple of holes shortened to play as par threes. The driving range and upper practice greens are open as well. We will monitor course conditions and weather over the next few days and keep you posted.

We also have some great events scheduled over the next 10 days. Please see what we have going on below and get signed up.

Memorial Day BBQ and AM Shotgun

Monday, May 27th

Come celebrate Memorial Day and the beginning of summer with your family and friends! Bring the entire family out to catch some rays, eat some BBQ and make memories. $10/person will get you lunch buffet, keg beer, and fountain drinks. This event will go from 12:00pm-4:00pm.

There will also be an AM shotgun so everyone can get done with golf and over to the pool. This is an open shotgun event.

Ladies' AM Scramble

Tuesday, May 28th

AM Scrambles begin with 18 holes of golf in the morning followed by lunch after play. Different team formats will be played during these events. Exact details will be posted in the Golf Shop. This is a great way to meet fellow members. Keep an eye out for the menu next week.

Couples Twilight

Friday, May 31st

5:00pm cocktails

6:00pm shotgun

Twilights consist of 9 holes of evening couples “giggle golf” (don’t take it too seriously!). Groups are comprised of four couples playing an alternate shot scramble format. The night will kick off with a fun patio party followed by dinner and prizes. This event is one of the best events to meet fellow members.
