Crappy news: Australian paper thinks aheadIf you’ve been to the store in the past week, you’ve probably noticed something strange: All the toilet paper is gone! It’s all part of a wave of panic-buying sparked by the coronavirus pandemic that’s spreading around the globe. To regain a sense of control, many people are hoarding basic supplies. And because masks and hand sanitizer are already in short supply, toilet paper was the next best thing. But Australians worried about prepping for the virus have nothing to fear. All they need to do is subscribe to NT News, a newspaper for the Northern Territories that printed eight extra pages of newspaper for bathroom use. On the front cover, a big impact-font message screams, “Run out of loo paper? The NT News cares. That's why we've printed an eight-page special liftout inside, complete with handy cut lines, for you to use in an emergency.” Unfortunately, the paper appears to be a “special edition,” so get it before supplies run out! Halloween pranks are going to suffer majorly this year. Tap or click here to see a drone that can cover houses in toilet paper. → |
