According to Advancing Futures for Adults with Autism, 90 percent of adults with autism are unemployed or underemployed, and just 58 percent of adults with autism worked in their early 20s, according to Drexel University. What are the challenges in recruiting people on the autism spectrum to your company? Lack of support from state-funded programs to assist with training. Limited internal resources for training people with autism. Lack of knowledge among staff of the needs of autistic employees. A shortage of applicants that meet job qualifications. This week's Flash Poll seeks your vote and opinion on this topic. Voice your opinion now! We appreciate all comments and opinions.
