CAM's Floating Lantern Ceremony is an opportunity for expressions of remembrance, reflection, and gratitude. Express your hopes and dreams for the new year.

Personalize a Lantern Sleeve

Lantern Sleeve

Participants are encouraged to personalize a lantern sleeve to float in CAM's reflecting pond. Lantern Sleeves are available for purchase at the Museum Shop ($12 through Jan. 11, $15 on Jan. 12) throughout the ceremony.
Live Music &
Demonstrations

Live music and demonstrations inside the museum and on the grounds enhance the late afternoon/early evening activities. 

Artists and performers include: Mitzi Ito, Origami Demonstration; The Casserole, acoustic trio; David Key, shakahachi flute; Julie Rehder, harp; Perry Smith, drums; Dianna Zaccaria, drums.

Food, Beverage, 
and Exhibitions

CAM Café will have veggie chili, hot dogs, hot chocolate, coffee, and full bar service available for purchase.

All exhibitions, including Illumination 2019, are open at no charge, donations are appreciated.
