Flooding won't stop Festival International

Festival International de Louisiane expects to start on time today, after heavy rains and flash floods impacted the downtown Lafayette area Thursday morning.  

The event is still set to kick off at 6 p.m. tonight, and downtown Lafayette businesses have been preparing all week for the influx of customers expected to hit the streets this weekend. Read the latest.
