SHARING MARKETPLACE FOR BUSINESS EQUIPMENT & SERVICES

ENTREPRENEURS IN TILBURG EMBRACE THE SHARING ECONOMY

Whether we are talking about a circular economy or sharing economy, both have the same goal: less waste and more efficient use of things, materials or facilities that we already have. Since march this year, the business parks in Tilburg (Het Laar, Katsbogten, Kraaiven have their own B2B sharing platform: Parksharing. The sharing platform has been facilitated by Solaris Park Management, FLOOW2 and the municipality of Tilburg.

On the platform, entrepreneurs based on these business parks can purchase, rent, sell and/or lend out idle assets, residual materials, facilities, and other matters. This not only provides entrepreneurs with sustainable and social benefits, but also financial benefits!

TRAVELING THE WORLD AGAIN

FLOOW2 goes around the world again, from Russia to Finland, Slovenia and Japan, to talk about sharing economy, but above all to motivate companies to get started! In Russia, FLOOW2 presents the opportunities of asset sharing at the Russian Festival of Internet Technologies. In Finland FLOOW2 will speak at the Nordic Conference on Sustainable Healthcare expo and at the World Circular Economy Forum 2019 (WCEF2019). In Slovenia, FLOOW2 speaks at the 4th edition of the Circular Change Conference. The ambition of this event is: Less talk more action.

And that is what we at FLOOW2 stand for as well. If we start sharing company resources today we will gain financial, sustainable and social returns tomorrow! RESEARCHING THE SOCIAL AND SUSTAINABLE IMPACT OF SHARING

Sharing is a growing global phenomenon with the potential to dramatically impact the current economic paradigm and enhance sustainability in cities. But, the lack of evidence to support the sustainability promises and the limited theoretical understanding of their institutionalization pathways in different urban contexts, calls for a comprehensive analysis of urban sharing organizations and urban sharing phenomenon.

Last week we have met with Steven Curtis and Jagdeep Singh from Lund University, Sweden, who are researching exactly that. As one of the global leaders in putting the sharing economy into practice we are happy to contribute to their efforts.

By bridging the current gap between the market and academia we hope to contribute to the growing body of evidence, standarisation of output measurements and so stimulate the furthering of the sharing economy as a whole!
