2017 Florida League Schedule
The Florida League has released its schedule for the 2017 season. Defending champion Altamonte Springs will face off against Sanford on June 1st, followed by all six teams playing on June 2nd. The All-Star Game is scheduled for Saturday, July 9th, and the 5th Annual Southeast Prospect Showcase will take place in North Carolina July 15-16. Playoffs begin August 1, with the Championship once again being held at Tropicana Field on August 6th.
Players of the Week: February 14
Florida League hitters were showcasing their talents all week long, including some monster efforts from Zach Diewert (SAN), Tyler Homer (WP), Michael Gouge (WP) and Karl Ellison (WG), who took home Sunshine State Conference Player of the Week.
