The player of the week is Gavin Thomas (Davidson College) from the DeLand Suns. He hit two home runs this week versus the Winter Park Diamond Dawgs. The pitcher of the week is Nolan Maroth (Undecided) from the Winter Garden Squeeze. In his time on the mound against the Orlando Snappers, he pitched 6 innings with zero hits.
