| Florida welcomed 140.6 million visitors in 2023, a 2.3 percent increase from 2022 numbers and the highest annual visitation on record, according to VISIT FLORIDA President and CEO Dana Young. The state continues its rise in total visitors within the first six months of 2024 with a year-over-year growth of 1.3 percent. “These visitors are looking for new and unique experiences beyond the expected, which can be found in abundance in Florida,” says Young. “While our beautiful beaches and attractions continue to be a major draw, travelers are discovering eco-tours, cultural festivals and food scenes that offer something fresh and exciting.” |
