Flu season hits hard: Influenza A hospitalizations double, lack of flu shots blamed

The number of people hospitalized with flu-related illness also has climbed since early December in Cuyahoga County. CCBH DASHBD MetroHealth System and the Cleveland Clinic are seeing increased rates of upper respiratory tract infections, health experts said.
